Rules of Play

Terms of Booking

  • Bookings are non refundable.

  • Bookings can only be transferred due to illness, we do require at least 24 hours notice for this.

Our Rules of Play are there to make sure that everyone has a fun time in a safe environment!

Parent/Guardian Supervision

  • Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • Parents/Guardians are fully responsible for their children’s behavior and safety while in our cafe and play areas.

  • It is expected that parents/guardians know where their children are at all times. Crumb & Play Colne does not take responsibility for supervising children in your absence.

  • If necessary, staff may remind you to keep an eye on your child. However, after two warnings, you will be asked to leave the premises, and no refund will be given.

Respectful Behavior

  • At Crumb & Play, our mission is to create a positive learning environment for your children through play and experience.

  • Any form of abuse towards staff will not be tolerated. We strive to model respect, and any disrespectful behavior towards staff members is a disservice to the children in attendance.

  • Individuals found to be abusing staff will be asked to leave, and no refund will be issued.

Health and Safety

  • If your child is unwell or has been sick in the last 48 hours, please reschedule your booking to help prevent the spread of illness and to ensure a healthy environment for all guests.

  • Only food and drinks purchased on-site may be consumed in our cafe. To maintain a clean and safe environment, food is not permitted in the play areas.

Behavior Expectations

  • Children are encouraged to respect one another and play cooperatively.

  • Rough play and aggressive behavior are strictly prohibited to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Furniture Use

  • Our tables are not to be climbed on or sat on by children or adults. Please use them as intended to avoid accidents. Chairs are for bums not feet so please don’t stand on them or let little ones stand on them!

  • If you require a high chair, please inform a staff member, and we will be happy to assist you.

Footwear Policy

  • Footwear is prohibited for safety and cleanliness.

Session Timing

Our play sessions last for 90 minutes. To help you plan, staff will give a reminder 15 minutes before the session ends, and we will begin clearing tables at that time.
